Urban Lifestyle

A new concept, a new philosophy that tells the changes of our time, for unique types in which the idea of home evolves, to be suitable for new needs and new lifestyles. The environments are more beautiful, brighter, the division of the environments identifies solutions in which everyone can find the natural space, indispensable for psychological well-being and family relationships. The interior blends with the exterior, the garden with the terrace, the earth with the sky. From the bioclimatic greenhouse, to the flower garden, to the spa bath, at the outdoor whirlpool, at the outdoor gym, the residences in the SKYPARK express the desire of the new URBAN LIFESTYLE.

The settlement principle and the compositional matrix

The main purpose of the new planivolumetric structure is to integrate the new residential building into the existing building fabric, pursuing the logic of urban completion. The intervention produces a complex settlement typology, generated by the overlap of three buildings in line, arranged according to the main positions of the lot. The specific volumetric articulation of the complex, the different crowning solutions, the different shapes of the windows, the different shape of the terraces combine to make the principles of order of the project explicit, giving figurative richness and urban character to the context.

The architectural project

The new building, without basement, is spread over three floors above ground, in line with the elevation profiles of the surrounding building. The intervention proposes the construction of four independent housing units with exclusive access. All apartments enjoy the availability of large terraces overlooked by the living-dining areas and sleeping areas. Through a careful reading of the plants it is possible to see how the internal layout of the rooms follows a rational functional arrangement aimed at enriching and expanding the livability of each accommodation. The new building adopts bold lines and volumes and is configured as a sort of “terraced system” facing the landscape. The plots of the front and rear facades of the building have very different characteristics, chosen in relation to the arrangement of the internal lori, their orientation and position with respect to the views. The materials used are functional to enhance the architectural quality of the project: the choice to define the facades through simple and sober materials, plaster, painted aluminum, glass and steel, wants to determine a model where the concept of form and material is made explicit. The different materials provided are joined by a color palette in various warm and gray shades tending to white. The SKYPARK of Olgiate Molgora is built in a central position, a few steps from the station.
